Head Start: More than Pre-K |
|
Providing Quality, Comprehensive Services for more than 40 years. |

Our program is governed by a Board of Directors and a Policy Council |
|
· Because of Early Head Start, 100% of all children enrolled are up to date on all possible immunizations.
· 97% of all Head Start families received emergency/Crisis Assistance and/or education services through the help of our program. · Total number of children and their families served was 521. · Our program was foully enrolled each month of the 08-09 program year. · All families served were income eligible.
· Currently we are meeting and exceed the teacher qualifications requirements. Of 17 teachers employed 11 had a Bachelors degree and 5 had an Associates degree.

According to the 2008- 2009 PIR Report · 110% of HS children were up-to-date on physical examinations. · 104% of children enrolled were up-to-date on dental exams. · 106% of EHS children were up-to-date on Well Child Checks, which include physical and dental exams. |

Head Start and Early Head Start were able to raise $845,843 in In-kind contributions, through the help of community members, parents and volunteers. |

Head Start Monitoring Report: In May 2006 our program was recognized as being “in full compliance” with all applicable Head Start program performance standard, laws, regulations, and policy requirements.
