The Lyon County ECKAN Center serves as a central source for ECKAN program information and other community programs serving low-income families.
Stepping Stones and ReStart are collaborative and client driven. Case management consists of assessment, planning, goal-setting, care coordination (follow-up/on-going communication), evaluation and advocacy centered on supporting individuals and/or families as they strive to successfully exit poverty and/or maintain independent living.

Provides financial assistance for low-income adults to meet basic dental needs at the Flint Hills Community Health Center Dental Clinic in Emporia.

ECKAN Housing Choice Voucher Preliminary Applications

Family Self Sufficiency Program
A voluntary case management program with a financial incentive available to all Housing Choice Voucher participants which provides a personalized plan to assist with your self-determined goals.
The Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) program is a federally subsidized program that contracts with private landlords to offer rental assistance to low-income families so they can obtain affordable, quality housing.
Summer Senior Farmer’s Market Nutrition Program
Provides checks good for purchasing fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs, and honey at Farmers Markets to qualifying individuals 60 years of age and older.
Monthly income must be below 185% of the Federal Poverty Level
Program is available in the Summer-sign up dates will start the first week of June
