Advocacy, Outreach, and Referral

The Morris County ECKAN Center serves as a central source for ECKAN program information and other community programs serving low-income families.


Provides financial assistance for low-income adults to meet basic dental needs at the Flint Hills Community Health Center Dental Clinic in Emporia.

Program can assist with transportation costs to ECKAN dental appointments.

Stepping Stones - Case Management

A voluntary case management program available to low-income adults working towards long-term goals and plans to exit poverty and/or maintain an independent living situation.

Salvation Army Assistance

The ECKAN Morris County Coordinator coordinates Salvation Army funds for the county.

Qualifying individuals may receive emergency assistance on first come first serve basis if funds are available.

Must provide proof of need (i.e. copy of bill) and ID

Financial assistance when there is an eviction notice or utility shut off notice

Other emergency needs may be considered
