This has been a year of transformation of resources, programs, and management of unforeseen challenges. To meet staffing needs an HR Director was hired. With growth in the area of new and expanding technology, an IT Tech was hired. We also had large increases in funding which allowed us to increase services as well as improve existing services. These new opportunities also required new information, more data collection and new outcomes. To meet this challenge, a Planner and a Data Specialist were hired.
Because the economy had such a devastating effect on those we serve, we had to find improved and more effective ways to meet these challenges. New resources, programs, and partnerships were developed to meet these challenges.
The services that we provided this year did not adhere to any one set of solutions, programs, or approaches, but is based in Matthew 25:35 which says: “For I was hungry and you fed me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you took me in. “ |
