Thank you for your support of Prom Boutique 2015 sponsored by ECKAN, in conjunction with Green Prom Movement, was a fun filled day of free dresses, prizes, and refreshments. Green Prom Movement started the day with a fashion show highlighting a modeling team of 12 local high school girls. Miss Kansas United States, Victoria Wiggins, and Miss Teen Kansas United States, Tobie Roberts, Emceed the fashion show, and helped girls find their perfect prom dress. Forty-two girls and guests from nine high schools in four counties selected from over 400 beautiful formal dresses that had been donated by individuals with the community and beyond. Many girls were accompanied by family members who enjoyed helping in the dress selection process, and also enjoyed the generosity of food donors: Dairy Queen, Daylight Donuts, Kimber Corn, and volunteer Jan Smith. Due to the excellent recruiting skills of volunteer Lenni Gaicin and the generosity of local merchants and individuals, many girls attending the boutique received a door prize and at least 26 girls went home with a dress. To produce this event 13 volunteers gave over 65 hours of their time and planning, setting up, and dismantling as well as working the event on, Saturday, February 21. A special thanks to Royal Dry Cleaners, The Pink Suitcase, and M@N Sports for loaning their dress racks. Our biggest thank you is to First Baptist Church, the location of this year's Prom Boutique.

ECKAN and Green Prom Movement are thankful to everyone who made the event a reality!
