The Ottawa Volunteer Center inspires, equips, and mobilizes people to take action and change their community for the better.

Thank you for taking an interest in making our community a better place! The ECKAN Volunteer Center serves as a hub for volunteer opportunities in Franklin County. Individuals, families, youth groups, and businesses are all encouraged to share the spirit of volunteerism! The Volunteer Center meets the following objectives:

	Connect people with opportunities to serve by recruiting and referring volunteers to agencies in the community, by participating in national days of service (such as Make a Difference Day) and by promoting special events that are in need of volunteers.
	Build the capacity for effective local volunteering management through trainings to local agencies.
